Tel Aviv announced on Friday that it formally appealed against International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Karim Khan's request for an arrest warrant for “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Oren Marmorstein, spokesperson for the “Israeli” Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated on X that the appeal challenges both the ICC's jurisdiction and the legitimacy of the prosecutor's requests for arrest warrants against Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
The State of Israel submitted today its official challenge to the ICC’s jurisdiction, as well as the legality of the Prosecutor's requests for arrest warrants against Israel's Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.
